Girl's Night Out

I just have to start out by saying that I have the best ward ever! I love all the girls and I'm glad we can all go out and have so much fun together.

This is most of the girls at Red Robin last night.

We went out to celebrate Kelli's birthday...right...Maybe that was just so she could get a cute waiter's number. :)

We went to RaLynne's after to hang out and ended up talking til almost midnight...again. I love that we can do that.

Thank you, Jace, for watching the kids. I really needed this. :)

The Park

Just got back from the park. The kids had a blast. It is a beautiful day today so we had to take advantage.

Also, we needed to something to do when my sister left so the kids didn't dwell on it. They love their aunt Maymee and we are all so glad she could come down for a long weekend. :)

It's Time!

It is definitely time to get a new post up. And I guess I'll just do a follow up.

I'm am sorry to my hubby, Jace, for putting his feet out there to be laughed at. If you don't know, Foot "A" is Jace's. :(

But, I am not as sorry for you as I am for my kids. Please pray for their feet. :)

So, it's no surprise that most of you found his feet the more ugly of the 2. I figured.

But Jace was sad to lose by such a gigantic margin.

So, here's your victory Curtis. I guess you don't have THAT ugly of feet after all.

"The Hidiousness of that foot...

...will haunt me forever."

- Emilio...Mr. Deeds

I just really don't know what to say. The following pictures have me both laughing and wanting to cry at the same time.

Let's just say I have 2 friends who have argued their whole lives about whose feet are uglier. So, to finish this fight once and for all I have decided to be the middle man and post the hideous things so you all can vote.

Now, I know it's hard...but try to look close at the pics because both feet are ugly in their own way. For example: Foot A is clearly ugly with it's high arches and bony toes, but Foot B is also ugly because it is the flatest foot I've ever seen...it looks like a flipper.
I don't want to sway any votes with my comments above, I just have to point out that they are BOTH ugly...it just matters which one is uglier...to them.

Be sure to leave a comment, but vote on the poll on the right. :)

We need lots of votes! Tell your friends! :)

{day of love}

We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's. It seems that once you get kids the whole "romantic" aspect of today just goes out the window. But we still had some good times.

Due to the fact that my camera is M.I.A. I cannot show you my awesome pics of today. But never fear, my blogging friends, I shall find it and post them soon. Let's just say the kids and I got Jace good. :) I will now leave you in suspense until I can find my camera.

Hope your day was full of love!

2.15.09
This is an addendum to the last post...

I found my camera...right where I left it, of course.

Before I start showing off all the pics I have to say something about this first. I have made it my tradition to heart attack Jace's car every Valentine's Day. And he still hasn't caught on. So, when he had to go to the church to ref basketball games in the morning I jumped at the chance to get his car. The kids were so good just sitting in my car eating suckers and playing with the balloons until I was done. It seriously took about an hour.

I had to put all the decorations on the inside of his car because last year he ripped it all down before he even got home. He used the excuse that he couldn't drive with all the crepe paper on his car. So, this year he totally COULD drive with all the crepe paper. :)

Later in the day Saint Valentine visited our home bringing lots of candy and gifts.

The kids were in awe of all the candy. It is their absolute FAVORITE food of all time.

Jace got a new shirt.

Xander got a movie..."Follow that Bird." Some of you may remember this from growing up. My sister and I were obsessed with this movie. My mom recorded it off the TV and we would watch it all the time. I saw it on sale at Target and had to have an excuse to buy it. So, Xander, hope you enjoy it like I did...do. :)

Aliyah got some new shoes...maybe you can see them. She was so busy with all the candy that I couldn't get a good pic of them.

Jace took me out to the mall and got me a new pair of shoes and he made me this card. Can you believe it? He used stamps and he even curved the edges and everything. I was impressed.

As you can see, we had a great Valentine's Day over here. We hope you all did too.

Pro Climber

Aliyah has always been a climber. It started a while ago...she was probably 14 months...when she decided she had to be right in front of the TV while watching Signing Time. So, she climbed on top of the entertainment center. She climbs up her changing table to play in the bathroom sinks, she climbs on the chairs to play on the table. She even climbs out of her counter chair to play on the kitchen counter...well, you get the picture.
Lately she has found a new place to climb...our headboard. Let me show you Aliyah in action...

(Don't mind the messy bed. It was early...)

Taking a break at the top

But there's always time to pose for a pic.

Next she falls off. She loves the landing...nice and soft.

...except this time she landed right on Xander. Nice Aliyah.

HaPpY bIrThDaY MaYmEe!

Well, it's a dark and rainy day here in St. George. I hear it's snowing up north. Hopefully that's a good birthday present. :)

Today is my big sister's 26th birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Amy is such a great Aunt. My kids love their Aunt Maymee! We love you and hope you have a great day!

P.S. Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks. :)

Super Bowl Fun

So, one of our friends invited us over to their house for the Super Bowl. We took the kids who had a blast running around with all the other kids there. When we were ready to go Aliyah came out of her friend's room looking like this:

The pictures don't do it justice. Her blue eye shadow was all over her lid and down onto her cheeks. Her blush was bright pink and totally accented her chipmunk cheeks. She looked like she popped right out of the 80s. Totally Darling. :)

My friend is a genius

One of my friends from high school has come out with something that, in my opinion, is absolute genius. Let me show you a few pics.

In case you haven't guessed, they are eye masks for babies. I know if I got one for Xander it would totally work...especially at church when it is every baby in the wards nap time.

These are just 2 of the designs. She also has eye masks for adults and sizes in between.
Anyway, her website is babylilac.com. So, go check it out.
