April 10 - San Juan, Puerto Rico

Wednesday: San Juan, Puerto Rico

We didn't have an excursion planned for San Juan either.  It can get pretty expensive with 4 children, so we decided to wander around.  My parents were going to go to some castles so we decided we'd check one of them out as well.  I didn't really get much of the history on it, but it was actually a fort called Castillo de San Cristobal.  The Spanish built it in the 1700s to protect themselves from land based attacks in Puerto Rico.

After that tour we went back to the ship.  Its just more fun on the boat.

Before dinner we got to see some more characters.  Taya was really the only one that wanted to wait in line to see them.

After dinner Taya and I were going to get Aliyah from the Oceaneers Club and ran into Belle just walking to the book shop.  She stopped and talked with Taya and gave her lots of hugs.  Taya was in heaven.

And here's our awesome towel animal for the night.  We couldn't really tell what it was...a dog?
